Engineering Float Trip

On August 10th Emma and Robert went on a float trip with Robert's engineering department. I didn't go on the float trip. I didn't think it would be too comfortable being so uncomfortable and hot. I rode up with another wife and good friend of mine to join in the picnic after. Emma had a blast with Daddy. She also had her friend Noah there to play with. It was a fun day for them.

She was super tired and hungry when they all were done. When she saw me she ran to me and fell and skinned her elbow. Poor thing! We found a band aid and then she was fine and ready for lunch. She loves watermelon!

Some Everdaynesses

Here are some pictures I've taken over the last few weeks. Emma sure is fun and keeps us going!

Lots of visits with Grandpas and Grandmas

We have been very busy traveling lately. Two weekends ago we went down to Mesquite for a quick visit with my Mom. They were so nice and gave us their old truck since Robert's car has been not working very well. We drove down on Friday and came home on Monday. I had to drive back by myself and it was a very long drive, but worth it. On the way there we stopped and had dinner with our friends the Nessens at Dickies. It was such a fun time and so fun to see my friend Amber. We also stopped and had dinner at their house on the way home. Super fun, great friends! I miss them so much!

We had fun in Mesquite eating out, doing a little shopping, and relaxing. We wanted to take the opportunity to go to the St. George temple, but it was closed. That was a bummer. It was a quick fun awesome trip!

A pretty area at the Casa Blanca!

We had some fun in the Casa Blanca gift shop. Emma loved trying everything on. She kept saying "Fancy Schmancy"!

We had dinner at a cute little diner and had some fun dessert. Robert and I split the big brownie sunday. It was so big we couldn't even finish it!

Then, last weekend Grandpa and Grandma Wilhelm came home from their mission and spoke in church so we spent the weekend in Laramie. Robert's brother Carl came so it was a full busy household of fun. Emma LOVES playing with her cousins. As soon as she sees them I barely see her the rest of the weekend. They were going to have a fun sleep over, but Emma was a little nervous sleeping far away from us. So, she ended up sleeping on the floor in our room.

On Saturday night we looked at some pictures from Grandpa and Grandma's mission in Germany.

All ready for bed!

On the way home. We took the truck because we had a few things to pick up in Laramie.

Yesterday we decided to head over to Cheyenne because we had lots of shopping to do. For the baby, household items and just everything we can't get here in Rawlins. We stopped in Laramie at the Brown and Gold because I wanted to get a onesie for the baby, but they were about $25 so we are going to keep looking. Although, we did find a cute shirt for Emma. Then we headed to Cheyenne and did a major shopping spree of Once Upon a Child, Motherhood Maternity, Target, Hobby Lobby, and Home Depot. I was very tired. Then, we met up with a friend of Robert's and went to dinner at the Olive Garden. It was a really fun day. I always love when I can get out of town and spend time with my family.

Her new Cowboys shirt! Go pokes!

She was pretty tired by the time we hit Target. Poor thing!

Bear Lake with the Wilhelms!

A couple weeks ago we headed to Utah to visit a few of Robert's siblings. Robert was able to help his brother with the building of his shop, Emma had a blast with her cousins, and then on Saturday we headed to Bear Lake to meet up with Robert's sisters and more cousins. We had a great time!
