Weekend Trip to Salt Lake

 

This last weekend we went to Salt Lake because Jakob had an appointment at Primary Children's to possible get tubes in his ears. The doctor found a lot of fluid in his right ear. On May 10th he will check it again and if there is still fluid then he will have surgery later that day. We stayed at Little America on Friday night. That night we went to visit Uncle Nathan and played outside even though it was pretty chilly.

Jakob loved to watch the trains go by and he would yell choo choo every time he saw one.

 

After breakfast we went car shopping! Yep we traded in our van for a Chevy Traverse! I got stuck in  my van so often this winter. I really wanted something that would do better in the snow. It has already proved it's worth! On the way home we hit snow and it handled it like a champ. We got about 6 inches and I had no problem. It has been awesome!

 

Goodbye Odyssey!

 

After a long day we decided we should take the kids to do something fun before we headed home so we went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner. Oh my! The kids loved it but Robert and I couldn't wait to get out of there! It was crazy! But I'm glad the kids had fun!

Dr. Seuss Night

Daddy took the kids to Dr. Seuss night at Emma's school. This happened a few months ago, but I wanted to make sure and post the pictures. They had a good time together.

 

Snow! Snow! Snow!

 

We have had a very snowy Spring! We have had fun in it! Emma and Jakob sure have fun with all of the kids in this neighborhood!

 

 

Easter! He is Risen!

Our Easter was so rushed this year because we had Emma's birthday and spring break in the same week. We got home late the night before Easter from our Spring Break trip. So I feel like our Easter was a little too low key.

We colored eggs the night before we left for Colorado. We had so much fun! We had fun writing messages on the eggs with the invisible crayon.

Spring Break Trip

Emma's spring break started the day after her birthday. We decided to take a little trip down to Colorado on Friday and Saturday. We left Friday morning and headed down to Denver to go to the temple.

 

 

After that Emma was very excited to go spend her birthday money at Build-A-Bear.

 

Then we went to Red Robin for dinner.

 

We did some quick shopping and then headed to our hotel, the AmericInn. The kids had fun in the pool with Daddy. Jakob was such a big boy he wanted to jump in the pool all by himself with no help. He still needed a little help though.

 

The next morning . . .

Disney On Ice!!!

 

It was so fun. We saw all the characters and the kids loved it. Jakob loved it when Mickey Mouse came out! Emma loved all the princesses.

 

After Disney On Ice we headed to Firehouse Subs for lunch. And then we power shopped for the rest of the afternoon. I definitely make up for living in Rawlins when we get out of town.
