Big News!

Nope, no new baby yet. But, . . . we are building a house! We actually are quite a bit into the process. Our current house is under contract so we will be living in a rental while our house gets finished. Our builder is finishing a couple of other houses so hopefully our house will start soon. We have our plans and have even started customizing. So exciting! It should be done by the end of June. We are excited!

Here is Emma standing in the middle of our lot after church on Sunday!

Birthday Weekend Extravanganza!

Sunday, the 22nd was Emma's 6th birthday! And what a birthday it was! Emma really wanted to go to Build-A-Bear for her birthday. So in lieu of a party we partied at build-a bear! We decided to make a little trip out of it since we are staying home for Spring Break. We did a lot of shopping and had a lot of fun together in Fort Collins and Loveland.

At our hotel!

Having getting her "Elsa" bear at Build-A-Bear.

Our funny Jakey!

After Build-A-Bear we went and checked out the progress of the Fort Collins temple. We're so excited!

Then lunch at chipotle! It was so fun to eat outside!

She woke up on her birthday to presents and balloons!

All ready for church!

That night she had her friend Austin from church and school over and his little brother Dylan. We had cake and ice cream.

We brought cupcakes to school and her class sang to her. She equally loves and hates being the center of attention.

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

We had a great St. Patrick's Day. We had a little visit from our Leprechaun Lenny. He left green Gatorade, Mike and Ike's, and Lucky Charms. He also made a big mess in the kid's bathroom! We had a green dinner with green waffles, and green milk. Fun Day!

Sunday Best!

We took some pics these last couple of Sundays! I thought my kids looked especially cute! I love Jakob's little bow ties!

Family Snow Ball Fight!

A couple of weeks ago we got quite a bit of snow and it was time to play!

Cinderella, Cinderella!

On Friday night Emma and I went to go see Cinderella! We had such a fun time together and with some friends from our ward. We love Mommy/Daughter dates!

Last week Emma had "spa day" at school and they dolled her all up!

Crazy girl!

Ice Skating!

This past Saturday we were in Laramie for some different errands. We took the opportunity to do some fun things as a family. We had lunch at Chili's and then while our van was getting some work done we walked over to the ice skating rink. Emma went ice skating for the first time! She had a few tough times, but overall she did really good and had fun. We were only able to skate for about an hour and then the rink closed until later in the day. :( We were sad! Jakob hated that I had to hold him and he couldn't go out on the ice. Poor baby! He is so curious and just wants to explore everything. :)

Getting the hang of it!

Emma was not happy the rink closed. :)

Birthday/Valentine's Weekend!

We had a great weekend for my birthday and Valentine's Day! We went down to Cedar City to see our friends the Nessens and had a blast! We went 4-wheeling, shopping, out to dinner, and hiking at Zion's National Park! We packed it in!

The first day Amber and I went and did some quick shopping in the morning. Jakob went with us. I found this cute hat! I didn't buy it but he looked so cute in it.

But, he was much more excited to be done shopping and out to the 4-wheeling!

After 4-wheeling we dropped the girls off with a babysitter and went out for a Valentine's dinner. We tried to go to a Japanese steakhouse, but the wait was super long so we ended up at The Brick Oven.

The Next Day.
Birthday Day!
We woke up and had a slower morning of getting ready for hiking in Zion's National Park. We hit the road on a BEAUTIFUL February day! It was about 70-75 degrees all day!

The girls in the car watching a movie on the way!

We went on the mirror lakes hike. It was beautiful and so fun! When we walked by this wall behind us water was pouring over it. So beautiful!

We made it!

Jakob was completely strapped onto Robert, but he wanted to take this picture.

The next day we had to leave, but we were in no hurry. Amber and I went and got pedicures for my birthday and then we brought home lunch. About 2 we got in the car to leave. Emma fell asleep right away! We had a long stop in Provo at Home Depot and then onto home. We were exhausted, but happy!
