Little Jakey

Here are a couple pics of our cute Jakey I've taken lately. I caught climbing on top of his toy to get to the hope chest. He's into everything, but he's so cute!

We were staying with Carl and his family this last weekend and I found Jakob sleeping sitting up and uses his ducky has a pillow. He is so funny!

Halloween Festivities!

We have been having all kinds of Halloween fun this week. We have been carving pumpkins, trunk or treating, and Emma had her class party.

We had so much fun carving. Emma picked a bat and Robert also did another pumpkin with a haunted house.

10 Months!

Our little Jakob is 10 months old! 

He has been very busy this last month. Here is what Jakob has been up to.

• He started crawling! 
• Jakob can climb the stairs (and almost go down by himself.)
• He can pull up on all the furniture.
• He can pick up food with his index finger and thumb.
• He loves his ducky. A soft little yellow stuffed duck. He snuggles his face in it when he goes to sleep. If it happens to end up out of his crib ,and he sees it, he will get so excited and crawl right to it.
• Jakob is definitely a Mama's boy. If I leave him with anyone besides Robert he screams the whole time. Although, he loves to hang out with his Dad, but he prefers that I stay close. Robert has to pick him up and soon as he gets home or he will start to cry. 
• He is eating solid foods better and better. He still loves applesauce, but he also loves oatmeal, cheese, crackers, yogurt, and bananas, 
• The sleeping thing might be getting a little better. He still wakes up at least once at night. 

Jakob is our little joy. He keeps us busy and is so much fun!

School Pictures!

Here are Emma's school pictures! Really, not my favorite. I'll be taking better ones around her birthday!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

This Saturday we headed to Casper to go to a Pumpkin Patch and do some shopping. The pumpkin patch we went to was LAME-O. They had a tiny corn maze, the patch was empty and full of weeds. They did have a hay bale ride that took you to a giant air pillow and petting zoo. That was the only thing we really did. Our favorite pumpkin patch is near Ft. Collins and we'll be heading there next year! We were a little bummed when we left so I looked on my phone and found a church that was selling pumpkins. We lucked out! It was such a cute little Fall scene. We took lots of pictures and had so much being surrounded by pumpkins.

Here's our little pumpkin haven that we found. So wonderful! I felt like I was in a Autumn wonderland. Emma was too busy playing to get a lot of pictures of her, but I took a lot of Jakey! The pictures don't do this place justice. 

Jakob found himself a tiny little pumpkin and was a happy little camper!

I scored a gift card to Red Lobster from a special deal on a hotel stay from this summer. So, after pumpkins we had to hit up Red Lobster. 

The day started out a little rough with getting to and realizing the pumpkin patch wasn't what we hoped, but we were blessed and the rest of the day went great! We even were able to do a lot of shopping and errands.
