Happy Easter and 4 months old!

We had a great Easter this year! It always goes by so fast. Jakob also turned 4 months old. Time is just flying by! On Friday night we colored eggs and then on Saturday morning we went to the golf course for an Easter egg hunt. Which was a little disappointing. There was not near enough eggs for the amount of kids that were there, but oh well.  We started out Easter with Easter baskets and a egg hunt. Then church. After church we headed to Robert's parent's house. Lots of fun to be had this year as we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior!

Time to decorate eggs!

Easter Baskets!

The Easter Bunny went a little practical for Jakob's. He will start solid foods soon and he needed some essentials!

Hunting for eggs!

We actually found a "real" Easter egg.

My big boy is 4 months old! He is growing up so fast! He rolls onto his side, but is not rolling over yet. He loves to smile and laugh. He laughs and smiles the most with face to face time. He likes attention and doesn't like to be ignored for too long. He giggles and smiles when you talk and smile at him.

Such Good Friends!

We took a couple trips over to Rock Springs while Emma was on Spring Break to visit our good friends the Nessens. I didn't get very many pictures, but I have to post one of the girls. They had so much fun!

Florida Trip~ Day 4 and Day 5

Day 4 was a pretty simple day with no pictures. We woke up and packed and then headed towards the ocean to my grandparents house. My Grandma, Emma, and I did a little shopping at TJ Maxx. Then we headed home to meet up with my Great Aunt and Uncle for dinner.

Day 5

Day 5 was a little bit of a chilly day with the temperature in the 60s. It was too cold to play much at the beach, so we just stopped by to see it. Then we had lunch at Bubba Gump's Shrimp. After that more swimming.  Later that night we went to Chuck E Cheese's. Emma had so much fun playing all of the games. The next morning we woke up super early to head to the airport. Goodbye Florida!

We came home to this!

Florida Trip-Day 3!

Sea World!

Sea World was way better than the Magic Kingdom at Disney World. There was not near as many people. We had a great day! We first saw the Dolphin Show which for some reason I forgot to take pictures of. Emma loved it, then we saw more dolphins and a bunch of animals. I was a little disappointed that Shamu Stadium was closed, but we were able to walk up to a pool to see the Orcas then we were able to go to the underwater viewing which was awesome! We also saw an acrobatic show, and a sea lion show. Fun day!

We ended the day with some rides! Emma loved the big log ride. The rides were her favorite part of the trip!

We ended the night with dinner at Applebees at the Hotel and then more swimming. Jakob and I sat by the pool while Emma and Daddy swam. Oh it sounds so nice on this snowy day in April.

Disney Time!

A couple weeks ago we went on a wonderful trip to Florida for about 4 days with my Dad and Step-Mom.  It was a great trip with lots of memories.

Day One
We stayed at a hotel in Denver and woke up at about 4am to get ready and head to the airport. I was a little nervous about traveling with the baby, but it went really great! We landed in Orlando at about 1:30. We got to our hotel and settled in. It was beautiful and my favorite part was the balcony that looked out on the pool. It was about 3:30 and we hadn't eaten since about 5 am so were starving! We  headed over to Downtown Disney to eat dinner and get our Disney tickets. We ate at a yummy seafood restaurant. Then back to the hotel for swimming!

Day 2

Disney Time!

We woke up early because we had breakfast with the characters first thing! Ok, so I have to say we were a little disappointed with The Magic Kingdom. Mainly because it was sooooo over crowded! Like way overcrowded. We did the breakfast. I hoped Mickey and Minnie would be there, but it was just Pooh and Friends. Then, we headed into the park. The first stop was Merida! Emma's favorite Princess! This was awesome and I'm so glad she was able to meet Merida because she was the only character we saw that day! Then we headed to Fantasy Land and rode a couple rides. It was just soooo crowded. By 5'oclock we had rode 4 rides and met Merida. It was a little crazy! We then headed over to downtown Disney to have dinner at the Rainforest Café. We were going to head back to the Magic Kingdom, but Emma said she was tired and just wanted to go swimming. So that's what we did. A little bit of a disappointing day at Disney. Emma's favorite ride was Dumbo. She loved it!

They brought here a special birthday cupcake!

A Mickey waffle!
