10 Months!

I say this every month, but I just can't believe my baby is 10 months old! Emma can crawl really good now and has been pretty much since she turned 9 months. She babbles constantly. It's so cute! She is so busy and always has to be doing something! She usually carries one toy around while she goes and looks for another one. She is very strong willed and if you interrupt her from what she is doing or try to make her do anything that she doesn't want to at that moment we usually have a screaming fight on our hands. I can only imagine what's going to happen when she turns 2. She loves her baths and would probably play in their all day. She still loves to kick her feet on anything that makes noise (especially the entertainment center and stove). If you give her a doll or stuffed animal she wraps her arms around it and gives it a big squeeze. She claps her hand whenever she is happy or excited. I love that! It's so cute! Emma is such an absolute joy in our lives. She brings so much happines to any day.

New Year's Eve

We had a great New Year's Eve this yaer. Grandpa and Grandma Wilhelm came over to babysit Emma and then Robert and I went to dinner. After that we went to chaperone the youth dance. It was fun a thing to do on New Year's Eve. We danced a little and pretty much just hung out until Midnight. These are some pictures we took before we left. I know 2010 is going to be our best year yet!

Emma and Josefina

We got Emma this little Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas. She loves it. Her birth certificate she came with said her name is Josefina. We took these pictures on New Year's and it was so much fun! I love how these jammies of Emma's match Josefina's.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. We went to Arkansas and had a good time with my Dad, Stepmom, Stepsister, and grandparents. Emma got to ride on an airplane for the very first time. She slept a lot and didn't cry too much so overall the airplane ride went pretty well. We had fun in Arkansas. It wasn't very warm and rained a lot, but it was fun to have Christmas and spend time with my family. Emma was so spoiled and got lots of new toys and clothes! It was fun to have her first Christmas. She would get excited about some of her new toys and it was fun to see her start to laugh and smile when she saw something she liked. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I can't believe it's over already! I'm excited for 2010 I think it's going to be a great year!
