Christmas Day!

I was too into the moment and did not do a good job of taking pictures at all on Christmas day, but here are a few.

Emma's cheetah cubs. Santa brought her 4, just like she asked.

Jakob loves his new walking toy.

Emma's Doc Mobile!

Her new boots!

No more pictures. We had a low key rest of the day and a had a yummy dinner that evening.

This is how Johnny ended the night.

The next day was our last day in Idaho. We ran some errands with my Mom and then went to dinner. On our way to dinner we had to stop and see Couer D' Alene Lake. It was getting dark fast but it was still so beautiful!

Sheena and I at dinner.

On the way home!
We left at 4:30am and drove in to Rawlins at about 10pm. We pulled into wind and a lot of snow. There were drifts and a lot of snow. I thought why do we live here!

Christmas Eve

Night before Christmas Eve.

This year for Christmas we went to Coeur D'Alene, ID to visit my Mom and Sister. It was a super long drive but overall the kids did great and we made it through. The night before Christmas Eve we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then went to see a light show on the river. The light show would have been beautiful except it was raining and freezing so we only saw some of it. I hope we get to see it again. The part we were able to see was really neat.

Christmas Eve was a great day. Emma was super excited to make cookies for Santa. She loved baking with her Grammy and Mommy.

Christmas Eve jammies!

Cousins!
Getting these three to all look at the camera at the same time was a feat!

Cookies and milk for Santa and carrots and celery for the reindeer.

Early Visit From Santa

Since we were going to Idaho for Christmas we got an early visit from Santa. Emma got a barbie jeep from Santa! She has been wanting one forever. She was so excited!

Gingerbread House

The Wilhelm Family has a tradition of building gingerbread houses every Christmas! This year we used a kit to build ours. It was a fun busy night.

Merry Christmas

Sunday Before Christmas

Here are my kiddos in their Christmas Sunday best!

I tried to take more of Jakob, but he was not being very cooperative. He looked so cute though with his matching argyle socks and sweater vest!

My goofy beautiful girl!

Sinclair's Christmas Carnival

Sinclair had a great Christmas party this year. They did a Grinch party with a carnival. Emma had been sick so we almost didn't make it. Miraculously her fever went down for the day even though it came back that night. They plan great parties and go all out. Each child was given a Grinch bag full of toys as they walked in with a book and stuffed animals. There was good food, candy, Santa, games, and lots of fun activities.

Emma with the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. She was afraid to stand by the Grinch.

A very large Gingerbread House!

They both loved Santa!

Photo Booth Fun!

Emma got a special treat when she had the opportunity to drive the horse sleigh. She loved telling them "step up" and "whoa". She even started singing jingle bells along the drive.

Emma's Christmas Concert

Emma had her kindergarten Christmas concert on December 1st. She did so good and says she loves being on stage! Here she is singing away. They sang really cute songs like, "I Ain't Gettin Nuttin for Christmas" and "Let's Put Some Ha Ha Ha in the Holidays." The little boy next to her is her good friend Austin. They play together at school all the time.

Jakob is ONE!!!!

I can't believe my baby is ONE! Wow! That year went so fast! I love this little boy! He has the brightest smile and funnest personality. He loves to explore and play. He is super curious. He is not walking yet but I think he will be soon. He is an expert at going up the stairs and is getting better and better at going down them. He is a horrible sleeper, we continue to work on it. He is FINALLY getting a good appetite. He is really starting to love food. He loves pizza, bread, yogurt, cheese, cereal, apples, bananas, green beans, peas, and lots of other stuff. Emma and him love to play together. She is a great big sister. She is protective and very loving with him.

The day before his actual birthday we had a fun party. Our friends the Evans' and Mills' came over. We had homemade pizza, veggies, cupcakes, and ice cream. Jakob loved opening his presents. It took him a minute but he loved his cupcake.

When he woke up from his nap Emma and I gave him his giraffe ride on. He loved it!

Party Time!

Present Time! He opened a couple and then was super frustrated when we wouldn't let him play with the ones he opened because he had to open more. He loved his presents!

Cake Time!
He was getting pretty tired by the time we got to the cake. He loved it even though he looked so tired through the whole thing!

The next day we went out to lunch to celebrate his birthday and the rest of the day was spent getting ready for our trip to Idaho for Christmas. Happy Birthday Jakob!
