Another exciting day!

First, I feel bad that I've had so many posts lately without any pictures. Tomorrow I'm going to try to post some pictures of my baby shower! So, here is the big story of the day. At 10:00 am this morning I started having contractions. They weren't really painful and I have had a lot of people tell me that these are normal and nothing to worry to much about. The weird thing was is that they seemed to be coming very fast. So, about 11:20 I started to time them just to see. Well, they were about 2 minutes apart and very consistent. I kept timing until about 2:00. They were starting to hurt, but not real bad. Just sort of like normal cramps. I decided to call the clinic just to make sure. They told me to go to the hospital. So, I called Robert and he came home from work and we got ready to go. We got up to OB about 3:30 and still they were very consistently 2 mins. apart. It was nice to have the moniter keep track of them for me. At 4:30 the Dr. came in to check me and I was only dialated between a 1 and a 2. By 6:00 my contractions had become a little more intense, but still really not that bad and I hadn't dialated any more. So we are home now. The Dr. gave me some pain medicine, but I'm still feeling the tightness frequently. We will see what happens, but the Dr. seemed pretty confident that this is just false labor. I was pretty dissapointed. I was excited that maybe I wasn't going to have to be induced, but I guess Heavenly Father has a plan. At least I know that Monday night is still happening and is getting closer!

Breaking News!

Okay, so I went to the doctor today and I finally have a day! I was really hoping she would check me and then send me to the hospital, but that might have been a little bit too optimistic. On Monday night at 5:30 we are supposed to go to the hopistal they are going to put somehting in my cervix to help me get ready. Then on Tuesday morning if I'm not already in labor they will induce me! I'm excited and I can't wait! I know Monday isn't really that far away, but for some reason it feels so far away. I'm not sure if I'll be able to post pictures until I get home, but I will try.

Good News!

I went to the doctor today and so far so good. I actually seem to be doing better then I was a few weeks ago. The doctor is planning on inducing me at 38 weeks, so only two more weeks! I'm very excited at the prospect of not being on bed rest anymore, and getting to have my baby! I'm also excited because she turned! The doctor even did an ultrasound to make sure. Her head was definitely down. I'm glad things are working out and going well. Two more weeks!

Still Pregnant!

I just thought I better post and give an update! So far, so good. I've been on bed rest 5 weeks now and I think I might be going crazy. I can't wait until she comes. My protein levels have gone up a little bit, but nothing dangerous so far. When we had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago they told us the baby was breach and on Monday she was still breach. So send turning thoughts our way! That is about all that is going on. I can't wait until my little girl is here!

Udpate!

I just thought I better update everyone on what has been happening. All of my lab work was the same as a week ago! Yeah! The doctor's goal is two more weeks, mine is four! I'm excited because on Friday I am 33 weeks. I would love to make it to 36! Anyways, as of right now things are going well. I'm on strict bed rest. I can only get up to go to the bathroom and take a shower. Thank you for all of your prayers and calls. I will try to keep everyone updated as to what is going on.

Awful Awful Bed Rest!

So, I'm on bed rest! I'm having so much fun! Just kidding! I'm trying really hard to be positive and to focus on all of the good wonderful things coming. They think I might have pre eclampsia. I feel ok. Sometimes I get light headed and nauseous. I feel better as long as I'm resting. Hopefully my levels get better and I don't have to do this for very much longer. Baby is doing well though and loves to kick her mama!

It's all finished!

I wanted to post and let people that I finally have finished my car for Mary Kay! I'm so excited! It is a Pontiac G6 and will get here the middle of March. I hate that it takes so long to get here, but it should be here right before the baby's born. It will be so much fun to bring my baby home in a new car!
