Ghost Tours

Robert and I had an exciting night last night. We went on the ghost tours put on by the Wyoming Territorial Prison. This is our third Halloween together and every year I seem to get us into something that leaves me scared to death and having nightmares! I should probably say that I get scared kind of easy so most of this stuff probably wouldn't bother the normal person. Our first Halloween we decided to watch a scary movie. I picked out this one based on a Stephen King book. It was rated PG-13 so I thought it couldn't be that scary. It was awful and it still freaks me out to this day. Last Halloween they had this ghost chaser woman up at the University. They showed all of these creepy videos and pictures. Then she talked about all of these creepy stories. We ended up leaving before it was even over. As if that wasn't enough one of the fraternities was having a haunted house. It was the scariest haunted house! We actually ended up getting chased down the hall by a guy in a mask with a chain saw. Well, this Halloween I managed to do it again. This was probably the least scariest of all, but still not the best. This was actually a young women's activity so it wasn't actually one I chose myself. Thank goodness Robert came with me. We started out in this dark theater where they told us about and acted out ghost stories. Then, we walked out this big wagon. On the way there all of these creepy people jumped out at us. The wagon ride was pretty calm and went around showing us different places and telling us stories. Then we took a walk through the territorial prison. Where, there was always people dressed in black or with scary masks who would sneak up behind you and just stare until you noticed them. It was really scary. They were always there in every dark corner ready to jump out at you. I actually finally got used to them and wasn't as scared anymore. Next year it is corn mazes, pumpkin carving, dressing up, and candy all the way! Fun festivities and nothing scary!

Needles and Heartbeats

We just had our second appointment today! It was really fun except for getting stuck twice with needles. I had to get a flu shot and then they had to do some blood work! I'm not completely terrified of needles or anything, but I really just don't like the pain of getting stuck by one and then I thought of my little baby and having to get shots and I felt really sad. If it hurts me it must really hurt them. I'm sure that will be quite an adventure. The fun thing was that we got to hear the heartbeat again! I loved it! It is so comforting to hear it and know that everything is okay. I can't wait until I start to feel it move around. Hopefully soon! The second great news is that at our next appt. on Nov. 4th! We get to have another ultra sound and find out what we're having! I am so excited! I hope Nov. 4th comes very fast!

Our Anniversary

Today is our anniversary. I can't believe it's been two years already. It's neat to look back and see how we have grown as individuals and see how our relationship has grown. This weekend we went to the Bed and Breakfast where we stayed at after we got married. We stayed in a beautiful room. I will post pictures of that soon. I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband. What I love most about him is his patience with me and how much he encourages me and loves me everyday. I love how no matter what we're doing we can have fun together and I can really be myself and feel so loved!

My Fastest Man Alive!

Robert ran in the Jelm Mountain race on Saturday morning! Basically you run up a mountain for 5 miles and then back down for 5 miles. This wasn't much for him since he has already ran two marathons and won his age division in both of them! So, in this race he came in second just a few seconds behind the guy in first! I was so excited and proud!

I was excited when Robert came in and couldn't really tell if it was him or not so I didn't get one of him running in, but this is sort of what it would have looked like, but he actually looked like he was in a lot more pain! I should have just gotten closer and started snapping anyways even if it wasn't him.

Good Friends!

This is for you Ashley! On Friday night we had our good friends Brittany and Spencer over to watch a movie. This is of their cute little six month old "Zo" or Lorenzo! Our friend Ashley has never seen pictures of him so I snapped some!

So, you guessed it we are going to have a baby! I'm also going to send out an email with this. I feel bad that I can't call everyone individually. I am right at 12 weeks and I am due on March 28th! We are very very excited! I feel like March is so far away and I can't wait! Here is our ultrasound picutre. I'm sorry it's kind of small it's the only way I could get it on here.
