Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

This Saturday we headed to Casper to go to a Pumpkin Patch and do some shopping. The pumpkin patch we went to was LAME-O. They had a tiny corn maze, the patch was empty and full of weeds. They did have a hay bale ride that took you to a giant air pillow and petting zoo. That was the only thing we really did. Our favorite pumpkin patch is near Ft. Collins and we'll be heading there next year! We were a little bummed when we left so I looked on my phone and found a church that was selling pumpkins. We lucked out! It was such a cute little Fall scene. We took lots of pictures and had so much being surrounded by pumpkins.

On the hayride!

The Giant Air Pillow! Sort of like a big trampoline. They had a blast!

Petting all the animals. Lots of cute bunnies, goats, pigs, ponies, ducks, and chickens.

The apple cannon.

Here's our little pumpkin haven that we found. So wonderful! I felt like I was in a Autumn wonderland. Emma was too busy playing to get a lot of pictures of her, but I took a lot of Jakey! The pictures don't do this place justice.

Jakob found himself a tiny little pumpkin and was a happy little camper!

Love these ones of the two of them!

Just another little pumpkin!

Two little pumpkins!

I love how you can see Emma playing in this picture.

Jakob loves to swing. He's still got that pumpkin!

I scored a gift card to Red Lobster from a special deal on a hotel stay from this summer. So, after pumpkins we had to hit up Red Lobster.

The day started out a little rough with getting to and realizing the pumpkin patch wasn't what we hoped, but we were blessed and the rest of the day went great! We even were able to do a lot of shopping and errands.

Conference and a Parade

It was homecoming week here in Rawlins and Emma's tumbling school was in the parade. There were so many kids on her float we couldn't even see her so I was kind of sad and so was she. She still had fun riding on the float though.

Guess who's pulling up?

This was Emma's outfit all of conference weekend. Hilarious! A t-shirt, panties, and slippers with bright pink lipstick. Oh to be 5!

Bathrooms Unveiled!

We are finally finished with our bathrooms!

Upstairs Before

Upstairs After

We pretty just put in the double sink vanity, new mirrors, and lights, but this required lots of plumping work. Such as, moving the toilet over and doing extra plumbing and electrical for the 2nd sink.

Downstairs Before

The bathroom was completely gutted and redone. New walls, ceiling, flooring, tub, shower, and then we used the original vanity from the upstairs bathroom.

We had to move the toilet over upstairs so that is why the ceiling is ripped up.

Downstairs After

The kids are already enjoying their new tub!

Happy 8 Years!!!

Our Anniversary was on the 6th. It was great and low key. Robert surprised me and came home for lunch with roses! That night our friends watched the kids and we went to dinner in Saratoga at a historic restaurant called "The Wolf." It was really nice to spend time together. Our dates have been few and far between lately.  I can't wait to see what the next 8 years bring!

Tumble Bug!

Emma started tumbling a couple of weeks ago. She loves it and is having lots of fun!

Here she is showing me her cartwheel. There are two things she wanted to learn: a handstand and a cartwheel and she has already learned both!

9 Months!

Another month has passed our Jakey is now 9 months old! He's doing great! Here are some fun things that he has been doing!
  • He is babbling and "talking" more. He says Mamamama, and Dadadada, and lots of other babbling. I swear he says Mama when he wants me.
  • He is still army crawling, but he is getting up on his knees a lot. I'm sure he will be crawling soon.
  • He is starting to eat solid foods a little better, and is still nursing great. His favorite is applesauce.
  • He still does not sleep through the night. I'm going to start doing some sleep training. Oh it is tough. I wish he would just sleep!
  • Jakob has his two front bottom teeth. They came in when he was about 7 1/2 months.
  • He is still a Mama's boy, but goes to Daddy a lot easier now.
  • Jakob gets into everything! He loves cords, we had to put all of them up. He goes after big stuff like furniture. He pushes Emma's little chairs around the floor. He loves balls, and other toys, but he loves to go after anything he can reach. He is very curious. Keeps me busy!
  • He is our joy and is so much fun everyday!
Here are his 9 month stats!
Height: 27.5 inches
Weight: 17lbs 12 oz
His percentages dropped a little bit from his 6 month visit.

He saw the camera and wanted it! I had a hard time taking pictures. He just wanted to play!

Some Everydaynesses

We have been busy lately with school, finishing up our remodel (pictures to come soon), and just the every day fun times of life.

Emma loves her brother. Aren't these too cute!

Last night for Family Home Evening we delivered loafs of banana and zucchini bread to some friends to celebrate Fall!

Jakob is so busy! He is a curious little boy who is getting into everything! Here he is crawling under a table to find some more goodies he isn't supposed to touch.

We cut down to big trees in our backyard! We had 6 pine trees and now we're down to 4. We have a lot more sunlight coming into our house and the yard feels a lot more open!

Emma's teacher is wonderful and texts us pictures of the class sometimes! She is doing so good in school. She loves every minute of it!

In this pic she is the one turning around in the white shirt with orange and pink on it.

In this pic she is the jeans with the gray shirt and pony tail.
They are having a brain break and dancing to some music!
