Summer Fun!

Here are some things we've been doing throughout the summer. We still have a couple more things planned before school starts, but here are some random pictures from the last couple of months.

Popsicles, Emma has been loving popsicles all summer!

Such a cute sleeper!

Playing at the library

Summer movie series!

This girl has such a hard life :)

She made a little picnic area for her animals and did her "work" on her little computer. Of course, she was also a princess. Her princess outfit is a daily occurrence.

Swimming Lessons!

Miss Riki! Emma misses her preschool teacher so much! She recently moved and will be impossible to replace!

Another movie from the summer movie series!

I forget that is isn't a usual occurrence for other people. Very often we will go outside and there will be one or two deer sitting in our lawn. They really don't seem to care if we walk outside. It is very common to see them all over town.

More swimming lessons! We actually did a total of 4 weeks. Emma loved it! She is getting there with her swimming. Her favorite is to lay on the noodle and swim around.

Ouch! One night about a week ago Emma was jumping around the family room, fell and landed on the edge of a table. She sliced her head open, but luckily it wasn't too deep. We went to the doctor the next day and they "glued" it together. It's actually healing quite nicely. Poor thing!

Zoo Trip!

A couple weekends ago we decided on Friday that it would be a great weekend to head down to Denver, go to the zoo, and do some errands. I found a great deal on a hotel and we left that night about 5. I think Emma was more excited for the hotel than she was the zoo.

She was very sleepy at the hotel.

Good morning!

Zebras!

Tigers!

Having fun watching seals swim!

Taking a break!

Emma waited all day to see the Cheetahs!

After the zoo we headed to Deseret Book, and then went and drove by the temple. We forgot that it was closed for cleaning that weekend. Then we went to Target. After that headed home. It was a quick whirlwind weekend. On the way home we hit a crazy serious rain storm. Then some really neat clouds along the interstate. It was fun and quick. I hope next summer we can plan a little longer trip.

Baby Update

I'm 18 weeks now! The baby is doing great. We had an appointment a couple days ago and everything looked good. I scheduled my ultrasound and they couldn't get me in until August 22nd! I'm pretty bummed. I'm not a super patient person and I'm ready to find out this baby's gender! So, we won't find anything out until I'm 22 weeks! I've been feeling the baby move for a couple of weeks now. I love it! It is so fun! I guess that is about it. I'm very anxious for the ultrasound!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July this year! The plan was for me to get home from girl's camp and then head over to Saratoga for a parade and some other events. But, I didn't get home in time. So we headed to Saratoga a little bit later to go to a community cookout, but when we got there we found out it was cancelled. So, instead we went to this cute little ice cream place called, Lollypops. After that we headed to the outdoor pool. Emma had a blast! She loved swimming with her floaties. It was so nice to swim outside and enjoy the sun and nice weather.

After swimming we headed back to Rawlins. Poor thing was exhausted. So cute!

When we arrived home we went and had a quick dinner at Buck's. We planned on going to a concert in the park and then watching fireworks. But, it was raining and this pregnant Mama was really tired so we decided to skip the concert.

As it became dark we went to our friends the Mills. We watched the fireworks and did sparklers. Emma's reaction to the fireworks was so fun! She just couldn't believe it!

Then since we just needed a little more fun, on Friday we headed to Laramie to go to the splash pad and visit our friends the Cauffmans. We only played at the splash pad for about 15 minutes before it was closed for lighting, but Emma had a blast anyways.

Exciting News!

Finally, we can say that we are having another baby! A Christmas baby to be exact! This has been a long time coming! I'm hoping the C-Section will be around the 20th, but my due date is the 28th. I'm 14 weeks now. We are sooooo excited! Emma has been so adorable. When we told her she yelled Yaaaay! Then gave us both hugs and kisses. I loved her reaction. It made me cry. Since, then she talks about the baby non-stop. She always putting her hand on my tummy "to check on the baby." I'm so excited to find out the gender. We should find out around the 1st week of August. I usually want the summer to last forever, but this one I'm okay if it goes a little faster. Yay for number 2!

Splash Pad Fun

Recently we had some friends move to Green River so last week we went over for a visit. The splash pad in Green River was so fun. Emma had a blast! She just ran and ran through all the water.

Here is one of her in her cute yellow dress!

Happy Father's Day!

We sure are lucky to have our Daddy. Emma loves her Daddy and will play and play with him. Robert is so good at spending so much time with her. They are constantly playing or doing projects together. Emma's first words when Daddy comes home, are "Daddy let's play!"

Father's Day dinner! Homemade pizza, veggies, and cheesecake.
