Christmas Festiviities!

Chrismtas is in full swing around here. We have had Christmas parties, programs, shopping, baking, wrapping, the usual. Emma has been getting very excited! She has figured out that Santa comes and brings her presents and it's also Jesus' Happy Day! That is Happy Birthday in Emmaease. She is very enthusiastic and has been telling everyone "Merry Christmas."
Santa came to visit our ward Chrismtas party and Emma wasn't afraid. Yay! She told him that she wanted a blue one. So cute!

On Fridays Emma goes to a Toddler preschool. This last Wednesday night they had a little Christmas program. Here we are before the program.

She was a little nervous at first with the program, but then she got into it and started dancing. She did so good! The little girl next to her is her friend Caroline. It's been a whirlwind Christmas season, but it's been fun!

Baby Emma

I was just cleaning up a little bit and I found this picture of Emma. My sweet baby. It's hard to believe that she was ever that small. She is 10 weeks here. Sometimes I wish I could go back and relive some moments of her life. They really grow so fast.

Family Pictures

We took our family pictures recently. My friend Kristi took them and did an excellent job. Her link is on the right side of my blog. I love getting new pictures and I love when they turn out so well!

Goodbye Gertie

For many years Robert's family has owned a garbage pickup business in which every Saturday morning they will be seen driving around in "Gertie" the garbage truck picking up people's trash that live oustide of town where the city does not. Since they are getting ready for a mission they have sold the business. Last Tuesday Robert's brother Mike was in town just for an evening so we went over to have dinner. We took picutres with Gertie since she will be going off to her new home.

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went to the Wilhelm household. Mom and Dad Wilhelm are getting ready to go on a mission so we spent one last holiday with them before they leave. We had a good time and a yummy dinner. On Thursday night Robert and I decided to go up to Wal-Mart to pick up a few gifts. I was so tired and it was so crazy. We got a couple of things and ran out of there before midnight. The next day we went to Ft. Collins and Loveland to do some shopping with Eloise and Shaun my sister-in-law. I had already finished most of my shoppping, but it was fun to go along. We came home on Saturday and enjoyed the rest of the weekend. We decorated for Christmas. I love having all of the decorations up and the feeling of Christmas all around. It was nice to have such a long weekend and have Robert home.

Time Out For Women!

I was so blessed to be able to go to Time Out For Women this year. I have been wanting to go for soooo long and it finally worked out! For those of you who aren't aware, TOFW is  a women's conference for the LDS church. We were able to hear from LDS music artists Hilary Weeks and Jericho Road and many different speakers. Such as, Sheri Dew, Brad Wilcox, Laurel Christensen, Wendy Ullrich, and many others.  I went with my good friend from Rawlins,  Kely Goold. We brought our girls and stayed at her husband's parents house. They were so nice to take care of the girls while we were gone at Time Out For Women. I wish I would have taken more pictures. Here are a couple.

Here are Kely and I at our seats waiting for the program to start.

I was so excited to find out right before I left that my good friend from high school, Kilee and her family were going to be at the event. It was so good to see her.

Here is Jericho Road performing on Saturday.
