The 4th of July and other Summer Activities

We have been having a great summer so far! We had a really good 4th of July with friends from our ward. We went to a barbecue and then watched fireworks with the Foiles.

A couple of weeks ago we had dinner with the Goolds. They have been such good friends to us. They have a cute little girl named Camila who is Emma's age.

Girl's Night Out! On Friday night some friends and I went to go see Harry Potter. I'm really blessed to have the friends here that I do! I don't love this picture because I look so short. I'm a step down from everyone else and I just look funny.

We also went to a carnival on 4th of July weekend. Emma loved all the colors and lights. She really loved riding this little train.

Emma's Swimming Lessons

Emma did great at her swimming lessons. She loves to swim and play with other kids. It was nice because they have this nice tot dock so I didn't have to get in the water with her. I liked this because I feel like she listens to the instructor better when she isn't with me in the water.  She did great! I'm so proud of her!

 Every Thursday night the summer they have a band play in one of the parks here in Rawlins. Here are Emma and I one week. Emma has lots of friends that come play with her. Here she is dancing with her friend Marshall.

Three of my cousins wive's have had babies in the last two months. We were able to go meet two of them, Duncan and Steven. Here is Emma with Duncan.

That is pretty much it with our Summer so far. Besides being busy buying a house. We have some fun family visitis coming up in July! I wish Summer wasn't so short!

Our Latest!

So, we have pretty big news! Robert was offered a permanent position at Sinclair! Yay! We will now have great things like benefits and a salary . . . and, we have put in an offer on a house! We are really excited! It's in the same neighborhood where we live now and I can't wait to move in! I have lots to post about the rest of the things we've been doing this summer and I will post soon!

Happy Mother's Day!

After sleeping in I woke up to a wonderful breakfast in bed. Then I walked out to the kitchen to find this. . .

I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a mother. There are many frustrating times but it's amazing how just one of her cute moments erases all of those. I look at her everyday and am ablsolutely amazed that she is mine. I really really hope I get to be a mother again very soon. Here are a few pictures of us together.

Best Buddies!

One thing that I love about Rawlins is that every morning there is something for Emma and I to go to do. We go to a Mom and Tot swimming class, play group, story time, ect. Well, it's really helped us to meet people and make new friends. Emma has made a little friend, Caroline. Caroline is also in our ward and is in nursery with Emma so they get to see eachother almost every day. It's so cute! They get so excited when they see each other. Emma calls her "K" since she can't say Caroline yet. They play really well together and get along really well. I love that Emma has such a good little friends. Here they are at story time and play group.

Easter pictures- Finally!

I was finally able to get the Easter pictures to load. It was a really fun Easter. I sure am enjoying my little family.

 She was really grumpy by this time of day so we didn't get any good pictures. She's still super cute though!:)
