Halloween Fun!

We had an awesome busy Halloween this year! The festivities started on Friday. Emma had her party at school. She wanted to be a Cheetah, but did not want to wear her hood.

That night we had the Trunk or Treat at church. I didn't get any pictures because Daddy had to work and I had my hands full with all of the trunk or treating.

Our friend the Evans had us over for dinner. Homemade pizza nd homemade root beer! So fun!

We did some serious trick or treating. The night ended with the moms and kids hiding out in Willdens house while the Dad ran back and got the cars. We had some worn out kids. So fun!

Cabinets!

Uncle Carl came yesterday to install our cabinets!!! It was like Christmas! They are beautiful! Our house is finally coming along. Hopefully it will be done in the next couple of weeks.

Emma had so much fun helping with cabinets. Her special job was to unwrap all of the door knobs and drawer pulls.

Some Everdaynesses

Grammy sent the kids some money for Halloween and Jakey had a hard time deciding which truck to get.

The other day right before we left to go to go to school the kids looked so cute. I had to take a couple pictures. They had to hold their Halloween buckets.



Pumpkin Time!

We carved our pumpkins for Family Home Evening. It was so fun! Jakob colored on his pumpkin with markers. Emma liked digging all of the goo out of her pumpkin. Of course Daddy helped carve.

I think we should send Jakob over to our house to work on it. He's been a busy bee!

So Much Fall Fun!

We have been having a lot of fun this fall while we are waiting for our house to be done. One of my very favorite things to do all year long is go to the pumpkin patch. After trying to find one closer that we liked it. This year we ended up heading down to Anderson Farms, our favorite pumpkin patch. Apparently everyone else has figured that out in the last few years so it was packed! It was also 85 degrees! I feel the best way to describe it, is that we were having miserable fun. It was still so fun to be there, but it was so hot and so crowded. Oh well, we still got cute pictures, pumpkins and lots of smiles.

 

 

These barrel cars were pulled around by a tractor. Jakob loved it even though he couldn't really see it. They had a lot of fun on this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course we had shopping to do afterwards. The kids just loves this cart with steering wheels at Home Depot. More errands and then we headed home. Busy but fun day.
