Awesome Weekend!

We have big news! This sweet little peanut is a. . .
GIRL!!!
We feel so blessed and excited! We had our ultrasound on Friday and everything looked good and healthy. We are so excited and are already getting ready for her arrival.

Our ultrasound pictures aren't great, but still memorable.

This is how excited Emma is to have a sister!

We had a celebratory lunch at Corona Village after the ultrasound.

We actually had to take Jakob to the doctor first. The poor baby's ear drum bursted the night before. He's doing much better now, but had a rough night.
He sure is a fun kid. He is always busy with never a dull moment!

After getting this love bug taken care of and eating lunch we headed to Denver. We had plans to go to the temple, shop, and go to my friend Miranda's wedding.

We went to the temple on Friday night and then played in the pool on Saturday morning.

Miranda and Matt
A beautiful wedding!

Fun at the photo booth, fun dancing, and fun wedding!

Some of our Everydaynesses

We have been very busy at our house! Mostly doing this! Working on our backyard or mostly our fence. Before we could even do this we had to bring in a lot of dirt and get it moved in the right place. That part isn't even totally done. The fence is so close. We can't finish until the concrete people come on Tuesday and pour our concrete pad. Yes, it has been a job and a lot of stress. We also dug a huge hole for our trampoline. This all was so hard trying to get equipment and dirt. We were hoping to have our whole yard done this summer but we are waiting to do sprinklers and grass. Winter is coming! Jakob has had a lot of fun with his Daddy helping him with the fence.

My best friend Amber and I were able to go on a girls trip together over Memorial Day weekend. We had a blast and shopped till we dropped. It was a little crazy, but fun!

Jakob and I have had fun hanging out while Emma has been in school. He doesn't cuddle like this with me very often but I love it when he does!

Fort Collins Temple Open House

We are so very blessed to have a new temple! It is an amazing feeling to have a new temple built and to live inside it's temple district. We were blessed to be able to go twice. The first night was an evening. We were also able to meet my cousin Chad and his family for dinner. It was a really great night! Then Robert had a friend who wanted to see it on Saturday so we headed down but unfortunately he wasn't able to meet us there, but we were able to go again anyways!
We were also super blessed with amazing lighting for pictures when we came out of the temple! I will love these pictures forever!

Jakob's First Day of School!

Jakob had his first day of preschool last Monday. He is starting early to help him do a little better with his language. He is a little behind. He has really been talking more and more though. I was so nervous and so afraid he was going to cry and not let us leave him. He did so good. He whimpered a little bit but other than that he was ok. The next day he did great too! He only goes on Monday and Tuesdays so I hope this next week goes well too. He is so cute and awesome! He is very loving. He loves to play trucks and tractors. He is a good 2 year old and hardly every throws fits. He loves his ducky and his sister. He follows Emma everywhere and has to do everything she does. He also loves to hang out with his Dad and use his "tools." We love having him in our family!

A baptism and cute kids!

Emma's friend Austin was baptized on Saturday in Martin's Cove and we were able to attend. It was such a wonderful baptism and the spirit was so strong. Here are Austin, Porter, and Emma. These little boys are such good friends of Emma's.

The kids had new outfits from Grandma Becky so after the baptism we took some pictures then Emma and I went to the bathroom and Robert took some cute ones of Jakob.

These two are my favorite!
