Camping

Robert got a tent for Father's Day, so we decided to give it a test run. It was a short trip, but still really fun. I'm hoping we get to go one more time before summer ends.

More Summer Fun!

We have been doing lots of fun things this summer. The first one is at the Jubilee Days Carnival. We took Emma on one ride and she loved it! She cried when she had to get off. We've also been doing lots of swimming and playing at our new spash pad.

Wlhelm Family Reunion

We had a great Wilhelm family reunion and 40th Aunniversary Party for Mom and Dad Wilhelm. It was a complete surprise and I think they really enjoyed it. We took some fun family pictures. Here they are! It was so fun to see everyone and Emma loved playing with her cousins.

Summer Adventures!

It has been so long since I updated. We've been having a great summer. It's so short here in Laramie. We noticed on the way home from church today that the leaves are already turning. We're hoping to sneak a few more summer activities. First in the line up was 4th of July and Robert's family reunion.

Summer So Far!

On Memorial Day we went and had a fun picnic at the park. Emma loves to swing! I think she would probably sit in that thing all day!

Grandpa and Grandma come to visit. It's funny how my parents ended up coming at around the same time. Grandma came first. Emma loves her and they have so much fun together! Then, Grandpa came for a short little visit! It was fun seeing my parents. My dad lives in Arkansas and my Mom is moving to Mesquite,NV so I don't get to see them very often.

Last night, we had a huge thunderstorm. It was hailing, and constant thunder and lightning. After it passed us we could still see all of the lightning in the distance. The whole sky would light up. Here is a picture that I snapped.

Sick Baby

About a week ago my poor baby got pretty sick. It started on a Friday, a fever. It seemed to continue to get worse. By late Saturday afternoon her fever
was around 103. Then, that night we had a huge scare when her fever got to 105. I quickly called the doctor on call at 1:30 am and she assured me that Emma was ok and told me some things to get the fever down. It came down pretty quicly to about 102. It stayed at least there or higher until Monday morning. We took her to the doctor and found out that there was a virus going around with high fevers. She said when the fever went away she would probably get a rash. Which she did. It didn't seem to bother her though and went away in about 24 hours. Saturday I started feeling sick so we pretty much just hung out in my bed for a couple of days.

This is early Saturday afternoon. Emma's fever hadn't gotten too high yet, so she decided she wanted to help bake muffins with Daddy.

My poor baby. In this picture her fever was around 104 and when she saw the camera she still smiled. What a wonderful girl!

She really didn't let me out of her site starting Saturday morning. She wanted to sleep right on me for most of the time. I loved how cuddly she was and how much she needed me.

She slept in our bed for two days. It was kind of fun.

Backtracking!

I realized there were some blogs that never got done and since I use this as a scrapbook/journal and do a book at the end of the year I wanted to make sure these got done. A couple months ago we took Emma swimming. At first she wasn't too excited, but then she started liking it more and more. Even though in these pictures she doesn't look very happy. She was kicking, squealing, and having fun!
