One Year Old!

Emma turned 1 on the 22nd! It's hard to imagine that she used to be that tiny little new born. She isn't quite walking on her own yet, but is getting closer. She is still a very happy little girl. She loves to play and get into things. When you ask her a question she will answer by saying, "Yeah"! It's pretty cute! She loves her Daddy and cries every morning when he leaves for work. She can be pretty cuddly and if I'm lucky I might even get a kiss. Bananas are ablsolute favorite food and would probably eat one with every meal if I let her. She squeals in delight when I give her one. I have to hide them during the day because if she sees one. She goes crazy until she gets it. She is such a wonderful, happy, lovey little girl.

Her 12 month stats are:
Height: 29 1/4 inches 50th percentile
Weight: 21 lbs 3 ozs 50th percentile
Head: 47 cm 92nd percentile (She has a little bit of a large head, but it's so cute!

We had her birthday party on Saturday the 20th. I love having parties and her's was really fun! Here is all of the decorations. I love this part!

We got these little party hats, but the kids didn't really like them that much. It was funny. Emma looked so cute in hers.

Opening presents! Emma wasn't too interested in this. Especially after she opened her blocks. She just wanted to play with them. It was so funny! I kept having to pull her back to open other presents.

The cake! She really ate it like a little lady. She didn't dig into it and hardly got messy at all. She seemed to like it though.

Build-A-Bear
Emma received a gift card from her Grandpa and Grandma for Build-A-Bear. It was so much fun to take her. She didn't really know exactly what was going on, but we would hold 2 different things up for her to choose from, and then she would grab one of them. It was prety cute! She picked out a really cute bunny with different color flowers on it.

Emma loves music so she picked out a birthday song for her bunny to play when you squeeze it's hand. She loved this sound board and probably would have stayed there all night pushing all the different buttons. They also gave her a little ribbon with a sticker that said it was her birthday.

Here she is stuffing her bunny. She needed Daddy's help to push the petal, but it was so cute!

Yeah! It's all stuffed!

Here she is giving it a bath!

Now what will my bunny's wardrobe be?

Here are her and Daddy making a birth certificate and naming her bunny Snuggles!

The Latest Excitement!

We moved! We are still in Larammie, but we found a 3 bedroom condo for a super great deal. It is newer and super nice. I have the biggest bathroom I've ever had and a walk in closet! It was absolutely amazing how things worked out to get this place. We looked at in on Wednesday, found someone to take over our lease on Thursday and moved on Satuday. I could just see how Heavenly Father put everything into place to make this happen! We are still unpacking, organizing, and getting settled. I hate this part. There is stuff everywhere and I just don't know what to do with it! It will be 2 weeks on Saturday since we moved and by then everything has to be done because we are having Emma's birthday party!

I can't beleive my baby is turning 1! It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital trying to figure if we should do a C-Section or keep trying with the Pitosin. What an amazing year! I will soon post pictures of our new house and Emma's fun little party! I'm off to go do some more unpacking and get ready for my Mary Kay Success night tonight!

11 months!

My little Emma just turned 11 months! I really can't believe how big she's getting. She is such a happy baby and loves to play, take a bath, and just have freedom to go crazy with her toys. She does this cute squinty eyed smile where she scrunches her nose up. It's so hard to get a picture of, but it's so cute! She lovess her daddy and as soon as he gets home she wants nothing to do with me. It's kind of funny, but it kind of makes me sad sometimes. If you show her a doll or stuffed animal she grabs it and squeezes it really hard! So cute! She also has a blankie and can go to sleep so easily with it. She is a really fun baby that smiles all of the time and loves to play!

The other day we were getting ready to leave for church and we look down on the floor and she had fallen asleep with her blankie. It was so adorable!

California Vacation

We just got back last week from really fun vacation in California and a couple of stops along the way. Robert got a paid week off at work and we have really good friends that live in California so we were off!
Day #1
We left Friday afternoon and headed to Salt Lake to stay with Robert's brother Carl and his family. We also were able to visit with my cousin Wade and his family right before they moved to San Antonio.

This is Emma's cousin Wyatt giving her a hug. All of sudden I look down and Wyatt has tackled her to the ground. It was so funny because she didn't even care.

Now she is playing with her cousin Charlie. They love to play together. Charlie runs around calling her Memma. It's so cute!

My Mom just moved to Mesquite,NV. It was a perfect stop to make on our way to Cali. It was fun to see her and she was so excited to be able to visit Emma. We ended up staying in Mesquite on the way there and on the way back.

The Beach!
This is the first place went on our vacation. The water was way too cold to swim in, but it was such a beautiful day to see the ocean and visit the beach.

Robert was throwing up in there. I love this picture and it really shows how much fun we were having.

We went to visit our friends Ashley, Derek, and Marshall Walton. Ashley became our tour guide of southern California.

San Diego Zoo

The zoo was really fun and definitely the biggest and best I've been to. We got there just in time to see the baby panda. They only bring him out for a couple of hours a day. It was interesting they had us walk through the panda exhibit in a big line and be really quiet. The pandas were my favorite and really beautiful animals.

The gorillas were also really cool. I wish I had pictures of more of them. There was even a little baby gorilla. He was so cute! In this picture Emma is looking at the big Dad gorilla. If you look clsoe you can see him.

Robert and Derek found cheap tickets to a Clipppers/Jazz game. They went to that while Ashley and I did Mary Kay stuff.

Hollywood and Beverly Hills

Hollywood was not what I thought it would be. It was pretty dirty and kind of scary. So we decided to take a quick drive through Beverly Hills and down Rodeo Drive. I had always wanted to see these cities, but I don't think I'll ever need to go back.

Newport Beach Temple
Robert and I got to sneak away one night and go to the temple while our awesome friends took care of our little Emma! I loved the Newport Beach temple! It was so beautiful! This isn't a good picture, but we tried.

Disneyland!

This was a crazy, but fun day. Disneyland is so kid friendly and I was surprised by how many rides Emma could go on. Her favorite was the Finding Nemo ride. It takes you in a Submarine and then you look out these windows into the water and it has the characters doing different things. She squealed and laughed through the whole thing. It was so neat to see her. I'm sad though because I didn't get any picture of that ride.

Emma slept so good in her stroller. She also got to meet Woody and Jessie and drink her bottle in Minnie's house. We were in line to meet Micky Mouse, but she kind of had a breakdown so we decided to go feed her and put her down for a nap in her stroller. It was a crazy day I didn't get quite as many pictures as I wanted, but I'm so glad we have the ones we do.

Soon, our time in L.A. with Ashley and Derek was over and we headed to San Luis Obispo. It was a beautiful drive up the coast. With wonderful green rolling hills, grape vineyards, and orange trees. We went to visit our friends Tim, Arya, and Brecken. We had less than 24 hrs. to spend with them, but they made it so fun! San Luis Obispo was a really nice town and it was nice to be far away from the business of L.A.

Emma went home early with Ashley and Derek the day of Disneyland so we got to stay and have a little date and get this picture taken. It was fun to spend time just the two of us. Then, our vacation was over. It was a blast and I can't wait until the next one!
